- Solid joint, similar to V1 except 4-stud wide with extra bricks for 6-stud look with smaller
length
- Bogey under joint connects to joint axis for simplified construction
- Doors removed for stronger structure
- Shorter than V2 for higher accuracy
- Sturdier buffer, with option for extension
- Sturdier connections of walls to each other and the joint
- Floor connection to bogeys allows for easier rotation
- Accurate gaps around bogeys for easier rotation
